I really hate this disrespect towards Goku's character in Super manga. How can he forget about her?

Remember when Goku said if he can fly he will take Pan to see the stars, when he screamed her name in agony after she was lost or when Goku smiled warmly after she called him "grandpa" multiple times?

I love translators translating manga directly to English and NOT TRANSLATING THE FUCKING PUNCHLINE OF THE JOKE???

It was supposed to be this:

It’s a play on words that only really works in Japanese, it’s the same exact reason Gohan was even named Gohan. They were talking about lunch and Gohan started laughing so they named him after lunch lol.

He didn’t forget she existed. Goku’s whole schtick is that he takes things at face value. It’s the same as the kissing thing. Goku wasn’t talking about kissing, he was talking about getting fed like a baby bird.

The translators seem to always misinterpret this and it’s getting annoying.

Namekians have white fingernails in the anime but since they started to be more accurate to the manga's color in Super Hero, I hc Piccolo got his nails painted black there (maybe Pan's idea and got Gohan to do it too). Just wanted another reason to draw Piccolo and Gohan's family :^)c
